How I got into insulation in Downey
I worked a desk job in an office for years before I figured out I wanted to work with my hands. I learned insulation on someone else's crew, then started this business here in Downey in 2017. Problems get fixed before they're covered up
New insulation over old material that's soaked or full of droppings just buries the problem, so we deal with that first. Then we seal the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch and keep the eave vents clear, so the new layer isn't fighting a draft and the attic can still breathe.
A plain answer, even when it means less work
Foam costs more and seals air while it insulates, but sealing the gaps and topping up with blown-in insulation, loose fill sprayed through a hose, usually does the job unless your ductwork runs through the attic. Your written estimate lays out each step, prep and sealing included, so you can see what you're paying for.
